The UW Climate Impacts Group has an outstanding opportunity for a mid-career research scientist who specializes in water management systems to join our team and play a critical role in advancing climate resilience for the Pacific Northwest.

Reporting to a senior scientist, this research scientist will independently lead tasks and support management of mid-to large-sized applied climate resilience projects in our water management portfolio. A successful candidate has:

  • experience working on applied water resources projects
  • advanced analytical skills using spatial and quantitative analysis methods
  • familiarity with mixed methods research approaches
  • a highly collaborative mindset

The pay range is $80,244-102,000 per year depending on experience.
