Matt is a research scientist with the Climate Impacts Group. Prior to joining the Climate Impacts Group, he was a member of the Applied Climate Dynamics research group at the University of Oklahoma where his research focused on investigating the atmospheric dynamics of Pacific decadal variability through use of both observation and model-based data. His current work with the Climate Impacts Group includes manipulating climate model data, interpreting meteorological and hydrological data, and physical process modeling. Matt holds a B.S. in Atmospheric Science from the University of Washington and a M.S. in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma.
