Project Overview

This analysis showed how the combined consequences of projected changes in sea-level, storm surge and peak streamflows are likely to increase the depth and extent of inundation in the lower Snohomish River basin, located in the Puget Sound Region of Washington State. Results from this work have been incorporated into an online decision support tool developed by The Nature Conservancy, designed to support multi-objective floodplain management by partners across Puget Sound.
