Washington Tribes Coastal Resilience Program

The Washington Tribes Coastal Resilience Program supports federally recognized Tribes on the Washington coast in responding to the impacts of climate change. The program aims to reduce barriers to climate adaptation by providing flexible funding and technical assistance to Tribes along Washington’s Pacific coast, Strait of Juan de Fuca, and Puget Sound. Guided by Tribal input and emphasizing Tribal sovereignty and Indigenous knowledges, the program seeks to strengthen community-driven resilience efforts supporting coastal Tribal communities.
